What's right? Some of the furniture is matching, but not all of it. No fake plants, just a beautiful big orchid, and small flower arrangement. Interesting brackets holding Chinese porcelains that double as artwork and accessories. Chinese porcelain lamps with updated shades that are the right scale for the room. Framed pictures on round table that add something personal to the room. Long cream colored curtains that touch the floor. Sea grass rug that brings texture to the room. Beautiful color palette of navy blue and cream.

Thrift stores, resale shops, and estate sales are great places for getting unique coffee tables and end tables like these.
Hobby Lobby, Homegoods and Garden Ridge are good resources for blue and white Chinese porcelains. You can usually find the brackets there too!
Garden Ridge is also a good place for getting a round, glass topped table. I buy white canvas painter's drop cloths from Home Depot to make table cloths. Just add trim to the bottom!
Sam's, Costco, Home Depot, and Lowe's are just a few of the places I have seen pretty orchids for not too expensive. They are easy to care for and last for a couple of months. Just drop it into a blue and white Chinese planter and you are done. No need for fake ivy!!
Ikea is another great source for stylish furnishings on a budget.
